Tibetan Thangkas: Imported handmade and hand-painted Tibetan sacred Tantric Buddhist religious art. High quality contemporary pieces from the Tibetan community-in-exile in Dharamshala, India. All artworks are painted by spiritual artisans in small batches, to order for meditators, monks and yogis using traditional techniques. Trace amounts of gold and semi-precious stones are blended in the paint and inks. Each stroke is a meditation. The art is brought to life with spoken mantras as it is painted and it has been blessed and activated by Tibetan Buddhist monks at the Tsuglagkhang Temple Complex near the McLeod Ganj hill station, where the Dalai Lama lives.

Manjushri Mandala Palace. The Buddha of Wisdom here in his dream palace, holding a flaming sword which symbolises awareness and holding a book on a lotus, which symbolises understanding. This has a larger gold content but is a simple and minimalist design to an ancient Tibetan diagram.

Kalachakra Tantra Palace Mandala. The ancient Tibetan diagram of the hidden temple of Shambala, painted in North Indian Himalayas, by communities of practitioners in exile. The Kalachakra, or ‘Time-Wheel’ is one of the tantras that the Dalai Lama, as a young man, smuggled out of India when the Chinese invaded Tibet. The Dalai Lama has made the blessings of the Kalachakra Tantra, a Highest Yoga Tantra, available to wide numbers of people. This ancient tantra is a profound treasure to behold and this Mandala brings peace and harmony to anyone who sees it. The Kalachakra Tantra is known for its ability to bring about enlightenment in only one lifetime.
